Fudgy Rocky Road Bars

I made this dessert a few weeks ago.  You could easily leave the almonds out of it (for you no-nut-people).  It would still be great and without the nuts it is really just like fudgy smores!  So good!

8 graham crackers
1 1/2 cups natural almonds, toasted and coarsely chopped
1 cup marshmallow topping
1 (12 oz) bag semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Line bottom of 9X13 inch baking pan with graham crackers, breaking them to fit if necessary.  Bake until crackers are lightly toasted and fragrant, about 8 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with almonds and dollop with marshmallow topping
  4. In a heat-proof bowl set over (not in) a pan of simmering water, combine chocolate chips and condensed milk.  Cook, stirring occasionally, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour chocolate mixture over marshmallow topping; working quickly, swirl together with a thin-bladed knife.
  6. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Store in refrigerator.
